Process
Project: 18 DEGREES. This idea is rooted in repeated geometry that exists on the site, particularly several key elements which meet at 18 degree angles. The abstract form that has been generated is then repeated at different scales to inform structure, void space, and circulation. The fractal idea is particularly relevant to the random nature of experimental art.

Concept Resubmission - Process
This design proposal is based around sensitivity to the existing site, creating moments on the site for experimental art to occur. Because of the unknown nature of experimental art, a variety of spaces with varying qualities must occur. Whether it be large surfaces upon which projections can be cast upon, an internal gallery or sculpture, an inclusion of nature, a large outdoor blank canvas, a performance area, or perhaps a work that requires complete isolation and exclusion.
